Election Integrity Circa 2024

Rebecca Mercuri has been researching and writing about election technology since the late 1980's. Her doctoral dissertation was “Electronic Vote Tabulation: Checks & Balances.”

Rebecca demonstrated that the correctness of vote tallies from anonymously cast electronic ballots is not provable.

An early and tireless advocate for the necessity of transparently tabulated Voter Verified Paper Ballots, she has spoken before the House Science Committee, the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, the Election Assistance Commission, the National Institute of Standards and Technologies, the U.K. Cabinet, the Brazilian government, and numerous state legislatures.
